When a small rural town in Montana experiences a series of unexplained events - livestock disappearances, strange lights in the sky, and mysterious crop formations - skeptical journalist David Chen is sent to investigate. What begins as a routine debunking assignment turns into a terrifying revelation when he discovers that something not of this world has been watching the town for decades. As the encounters intensify and the government moves in to contain the situation, David must decide whether to expose the truth or protect humanity from a reality it may not be ready to face. A slow-burn sci-fi thriller that asks: what happens when they finally make contact?
This is how you do alien movies. No CGI overload, just pure dread and atmosphere. The less you see, the scarier it gets.
Takes its time building tension but the payoff is incredible. The final 20 minutes had me shaking.
I appreciate what they were going for but I found myself checking my phone. Needed more action.
Finally a movie that treats the subject seriously. The government conspiracy angle felt so real.
The Montana setting is perfect. Every scene feels isolated and vulnerable. Great sound design too.
Watched it alone and regretted it immediately. "They are watching you" hits different now.
Nothing happens for an hour then the ending is ambiguous. Waste of time honestly.
Reminds me of classic Spielberg mixed with modern horror. The journalist character is so well written.
If you want explosions and aliens fighting, look elsewhere. This is psychological sci-fi at its best.
I am still thinking about that final shot. What does it mean?? Need to watch again immediately.
The concept is fantastic but some scenes drag on way too long. Needed tighter editing.
Grounded, realistic, and absolutely terrifying. The crop formation scene is unforgettable.
